Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Draa Valley – Zagora

Early morning departure from Marrakech towards the High Atlas Mountains. We cross through the 2,260m Tizi n'Tichka pass, stopping for spectacular panoramic views. Arrive at the ancient fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site featured in movies like Gladiator and Prince of Persia. Continue south to Ouarzazate for lunch, followed by a visit to Taourirt Kasbah. We then travel over the Tizi n'Tnifift pass down to Agdz, driving along the palm-lined Draa Valley with its magnificent oases. Arrive in Zagora where camels await to take you across the dunes to spend an unforgettable night in a traditional nomad desert tent under the stars with dinner and Berber music.

Day 2: Zagora Sunrise – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Wake early to witness a breathtaking desert sunrise over the dunes of Zagora. After a traditional Moroccan breakfast at the camp, ride the camels back to Zagora. We begin our return journey through the Draa Valley, exploring the palm groves and ancient Berber villages. We head north back towards Ouarzazate for lunch and rest, before re-crossing the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Arrive back in Marrakech in the late afternoon or early evening, where we drop you off at your hotel or riad.
